Notice: Starting from March 15, 2026, the parameters used to calculate the CRIq score have been updated according to the new normative sample (see Mondini et al., 2023).
If you need to calculate the CRIq using the previous parameters, please refer to this link: Old CRIq Score.
Please choose your preferred language and whether you would like to take the long or short version of the questionnaire.
The CRIq (long version) is a questionnaire (Nucci et al., 2012) that collects and quantifies the main cognitively stimulating activities a person has carried out during their adult life. CRIq is a composite tool that evaluates education, working activities and leisure time activities measured on three sub-indexes: CRI-Education, CRI-WorkingActivity, and CRI- LeisureTime which includes 17 activities. The global score, Cognitive Reserve Index (CRI), derives from these three.
The s-CRIq (short CRIq version) is a questionnaire (Mondini et al., 2023) that collects and quantifies the main cognitively stimulating activities a person has carried out during their adult life. s-CRIq is a composite tool that evaluates education, working activities and leisure time activities measured on three sub-indexes: CRI-Education, CRI- WorkingActivity, and CRI-LeisureTime which includes 5 activities. The global score, Cognitive Reserve Index (CRI), derives from these three.
